A year abroad with Sagitter Training: what is it about?
A year abroad, also known as a year of study abroad, includes a period of study abroad (not only a year, but also a quarter or a semester abroad), the improvement or learning of a language and a cultural life experience.
When students choose to spend the school year at a high school in the United States, Ireland, Spain or the United Kingdom, the experience is often referred to as a school year abroad.
Even if a student decides to leave after high school or after university courses, it is referred to as a year abroad, better defined as a gap year.
The advantages of studying abroad for a quarter, a semester or a year: what are they?
Spending a year abroad is one of the most effective ways to learn a foreign language.
In this way you will have the opportunity to fully immerse yourself in language learning and daily activities.
But more than that: it will provide an important motivation for your academic and professional future, allowing you to grow personally and make your path different from others.
Quarterly, half-yearly or annual study abroad: what's the difference?
The choice between 3 months, 6 months or a full year abroad is entirely up to you and what you want to achieve.
You will have more flexibility if you can spend an academic year abroad after graduation, during or after university studies. Of course, the more time you have and are willing to dedicate to this incredible experience, the more effective and positive will be the impact on your academic and personal training.
Recognition of the year of study abroad
Recognition for a year of study abroad depends on the type of experience you choose.
The academic year abroad takes place during high school and is accredited by the MIUR of the Ministry of Education.
An academic year abroad will allow you to experience a foreign country from a cultural and linguistic point of view.
The recognition process for the year abroad must be completed at the end of your stay and the Sagitter Training staff will assist you in this process.
A year of language abroad is instead a linguistic experience, not recognized by MIUR.
This is a study or internship experience where you will choose to study or work abroad while gaining your language certification and preparing for a successful future.
